Wow this is one the biggest transfers of this season, including Messi joining PSG. But what makes this transfer special is how it happened in a few hours while City were trying to sign Ronaldo, the deal was not successful and then comes United. United secured Ronaldo’s signing for 24 Million Euros.

Some sources are suggesting that Sir Alex Ferguson Called Ronaldo after hearing about his transfer news of joining City and he convinced him not to join their rivals. This can be true as Ronaldo treats him like his own father and he has a lot of influence over CR7. He was the man who brought him to United from Sporting back in 2003. He is the one who transformed a prodigy to the best footballer in the world whom everyone feared. He convinced Ronaldo to take the number 7 jersey as he believed in him, gave his debut and always supported him everywhere.

United tried to sign him earlier as well but was unsuccessful in two occasions. Now they have got their Prodigal son back and the time can not be more perfect. United need a player to guide them and take them back to their glory days and who better than CR7, who left his impression everywhere he goes. He is a born winner even though he is 36 years old now but still scoring 35+ goals a season is no small feet. Many top strikers can’t match these numbers consistently and he has been doing it for the last whole decade or more. We have seen in the last 2 games how United is performing, they are looking like a team with a lot of passion and playing smoothly, but now they have got a proven goalscorer, a master of the game and a leader as well. Who never gives up and always shows up in the moment of need. 

If we talk about the impact he will have, we can predict that Manchester United will surely be in the top 3 of the Premier League this season and then can cross their best run in years in the Champions league as well. United have been performing poorly in the Champions league for the last many seasons now. Occasionally making it to pre-quarters, but now with Mr. Champions league (Top scorer in the history of the competition), and 5 time winner of the trophy, they can surely do better and challenge bigger clubs. He can also compete for Golden boot in the premier league. All in all, perfect business for United and Ronaldo as well as he was getting heavily criticized in Italy.
